An SNA Marianapolis International School education begins in the traditional classroom space, but it does not end there. Here, learning continues on athletic fields, across dance floors, and behind camera lenses. We are thrilled to be offering several athletic programs and activities for all levels. With health and wellness in mind, we do ask that Middle and Upper School students participate in two seasons out of three for extracurricular activities each year. For our elementary students, seasonal participation in group activities will be facilitated to build confidence, promote wellness, and hone interpersonal skills.

Athletic competition fosters a unique venue for each child

Athletic competition fosters a unique venue for each child to explore personal development outside of the academic sphere. Student-athletes who commit themselves to skills practice and physical wellness have the opportunity to cultivate patience, hone diligence, and learn the poise needed for success and defeat through healthy, structured contests. Given a variety of options to choose from, the elite, talented athlete is in as good company within the SNA Marianapolis athletic program – as the novice player. Students can learn the fundamental skills of a sport for the first time, or can progress as a veteran leader of the team. All students access tiered options of competitive play.

Many students use extracurricular activities to stay healthy

Many students use extracurricular activities to stay healthy – mind and body. Whether they take center stage in a dramatic production, or find spiritual balance through yoga, students grow in countless ways outside the classroom.
