Staying with each individual until their matriculation

Counseling for a student’s well-being, and support for career and university pathways, are two different departments at SNA Marianapolis.

College counseling – support for students to understand their interests, synthesize their list of possible schools, and complete their application processes – will be provided through the College Placement Office for students in high school (grades 9-12). Our team of veteran placement counselors work 1:1 with students beginning in their freshman year, staying with each individual until their matriculation to university is officially complete.

Services are provided by credentialed personnel with requisite degrees for health

Health and counseling services are provided by credentialed personnel with requisite degrees for health (R.N.) or mental health support (counseling). The Health Office is authorized to administer medication and vaccinations to students as needed. The School Counselor at Marianapolis Preparatory School follows the ethical codes of the American School Counseling Association, which includes but is not limited to confidentiality practices, mandated reporting, dual relationships, and managing boundaries. These standards – or greater, where applicable – will guide the Health Services team at SNA Marianapolis International School.
