According to the Ministry of Education and Training’s research, bullying cases total 1,600–1,800 per year, with an average of 5 violent events occurring each day both inside and outside of schools across the country. These figures also serve as a cautionary tale regarding the aforementioned issue in the current digital era.
This issue not only has an immediate detrimental effect on students’ physical and mental health, but it also causes parents to be uncertain and afraid about sending their children to school.
With the intention of helping parents and students comprehend and update the latest information about this extremely grave issue, we would like to introduce a seminar called “Speak up to Bullying” with the sharing of an esteemed professional in the field of clinical psychology of children and adolescents, Ms. Nguyen Thi Dieu Anh, together with the School Board and the Academic Team.
Here are some of the key points that will be addressed at the seminar:
- The concepts and types of school bullying that parents and students need to be aware of.
- How to recognize, differentiate, and evaluate the impacts as well as take precautions and prompt action whenever circumstances arise.
- Student protection program and educational initiatives are used to prevent bullying at SNA Marianpolis.
and plenty more.
In addition to the seminar, there were a variety of engaging classroom activities that offer parents and students the chance to experience an authentic international classroom with a cutting-edge American curriculum.
