Job purpose

At SNA Marianapolis, every student has a story.
We are looking for a Content Creator to turn everyday campus moments into engaging stories and visual content that strengthen our brand and connect with our community.
This role covers content creation, storytelling, social media, photography, and video production, with responsibility for taking content from idea to shooting, editing, and publishing across our digital channels.

Duties and responsibilities

1. Content Creation & Storytelling

  • Develop and manage content calendars and content pillars across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, website, and other digital platforms.
  • Proactively identify and develop authentic stories around student life, academic experiences, teachers, campus activities, events, achievements, and the wider school community.
  • Interview students, teachers, parents, and staff to turn real experiences into engaging content.
  • Write social media captions, articles, video scripts, interview questions, and campaign content.
  • Stay updated on social media trends and proactively identify engaging “content moments” across campus.

2. Video Production & Editing

  • Develop creative concepts, storyboards, and scripts for short-form video content.
  • Independently shoot high-quality photos and videos during school activities, events, and everyday campus life.
  • Produce and edit Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts, interviews, event recaps, and other social-first content.
  • Handle basic to intermediate video editing, including cutting, subtitles, music, transitions, and visual effects.
  • Maintain an organized library of high-quality photo and video assets in line with SNA Marianapolis brand guidelines.

3. Marketing, Admissions & Collaboration

  • Create content to support marketing, admissions, enrollment, and school-wide campaigns, including Open House, School Tours, Scholarships, Trial Classes, Parent Workshops, and School Events.
  • Work closely with Admissions, Academic, Student Life, and other departments to identify content opportunities and develop relevant content.
  • Translate campaign objectives into engaging content ideas, key messages, and content series.
  • Monitor content performance and recommend improvements to increase reach, engagement, and effectiveness.
  • Ensure all published content is accurate, appropriate, and aligned with the school's brand, values, and communication standards.

Job Requirement:

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Media, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in Content Creation, Social Media, Digital Marketing, or a related role.
  • A portfolio demonstrating content creation, photography, and video production skills is required.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Strong storytelling, writing, and content creation skills.
  • Ability to independently shoot and edit engaging photo and video content for social media.
  • Proficiency in content creation and editing tools such as CapCut, Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro, or equivalent.
  • Good understanding of social media platforms, content trends, and audience engagement.
  • Good English communication skills; experience creating English content is an advantage.

  • Creative, proactive, and passionate about storytelling.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage students, teachers, parents, and colleagues.
  • Organized, adaptable, and able to manage multiple projects in a dynamic school environment.
